Mother Culture – My Reading List

“Mothers should cultivate their souls so that in turn they may cultivate the souls of their children.” Billy Graham

I love to read books.

I don’t get a lot of time these days to read, but I try to dedicate some time most mornings to read something hearty and some time most evening to read something fun. Notice I said most not every. Let’s be honest, with small children, almost nothing happens exactly as planned.

For me this is a central part of my Mother Culture.

What is Mother Culture? I first wrote about it here but basically it’s taking time to build into yourself.

At this point in my life, Mother Culture looks like time with God, time to read good books, time to sew or shop and time to listen to podcasts.

I thought I would share just a little inspiration from each book that I read.

My Reading List

Little Men by Louisa May Alcott

Consider This by Karen Glass

The Little Book of Hygge – Meik Wiking

Mere Motherhood by Cindy Rollins
