Little Men – Louisa May Alcott

Every homeschooling mother should read Little Men. Every mother should read Little Men.

I had never read the rest of the Little Women series until now and I am enjoying it immensely. The story takes place at Plumfield, the small orphanage that Jo and her professor husband run. There they seek to raise little men of virtue. The characters are real, delightful and relatable.

As a homeschooling mother, I cannot help but connect to Mother Bhaer, and I have been inspired by the wisdom of her character.
